My Yeti

Over the weekend Olive was scampering in such a clumsy and doofus-y way that Darrell looked at her and called her a “Yeti-doodle”. It made me laugh out loud AND reminded me that I hadn’t paired her new Wood in the Wild YETI(!!!) tag with her new black Papi and Company collar. And then I did and realized it was a match made in wet wilderness perfection! Please enjoy this shameless Papi and Company X WITW appreciation post!

Our Papi and Company black biothane collar and leash set makes Olive look like an edgy early 2000s goth child WHICH I LOVE, in addition to being the perfect gear for my mud seeking missile of a pup. Maddison – the shop owner – is so thoughtful in constructing each of her pieces and the quality is unparalleled. Dreamy matte black lobster clasps anyone?! (Stay tuned for Olive’s custom stamped Papi and Company teal collar OHMYGOSH IT’S SO BEAUTIFUL!)

Our Wood in the Wild tags? These are wearable art my friends! Olive’s best friend’s mom saw one dangling around her neck during a play date and asked me what it was. I told her all about WITW and then she looked at it again, looked at me, and said “so it’s like jewelry.” And I thought…YUP. Exactly. Samantha paints each piece by hand using found wood in Alaska so each piece is totally unique. We have five tags. Our sixth is on its way. It’s an addiction. NBD.

Have you tried biothane yet? It’s THE BEST for outdoor scoundrels because it dries off/wipes off easily and immediately! And I love that Olive isn’t carrying extra water around her neck. Use code OLIVE10 for 10% off your Papi and Company order!

Disclaimer: Olive models for Papi and Company and we have one free leash/collar set from them (not this one). We do not get additional kickbacks when you order from them. We are not affiliated with WITW in any way. All opinions are our own.
